As a proud member of 1% for the Planet, at least 1% of our profits as a company go to high priority environmental causes, with a focus on climate change.
We created our Good Karma candle program, where $1 from every candle is donated to charities and non-profits with a focus on the environment and social causes.
We support a new organization each month. $1 from every candle sold between November 22 - December 31, 2022, will be donated to Second Harvest
From working in Toronto's tech industry in HR to making hand-poured candles that are good for you + the planet.
A couple of years ago, I asked myself a simple question: “What would I do if I knew I could not fail?”
The answer? To spark joy in the everyday lives of others with my own sustainable candle and lifestyle company.
The funny thing? I’ve had this dream since I was a little girl growing up in the country, climbing birch trees and happily singing with my bare feet in the grass, imagining the things I would do when I grow up. Like so many, somehow along the way, I’d gone down a different path.
At the time, when I asked myself that simple question, I was a busy HR leader in a growing tech company in downtown Toronto while also 'balancing' my family life, but I kept dreaming about my business and how I could make it happen.
Maybe like you, I have always been sensitive to fragrances and chemicals and used to have terrible headaches. I wanted to create candles that made me feel good and that were good for me and the planet. After lots of research and time in the studio making and learning, I created my candles and wanted to share them with others.
Bright Candle Co. is the realisation of my lifelong dream, combining my love of craft, design and home in one. I am so excited for you to experience my candles and hope that they spark joy in your everyday. ❤️
P.s. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
